David A. Penning

David Penning, age 61, passed away peacefully at Nebraska Medicine August 10, 2021. He was born July 21, 1960 to Kenneth and Rosemary (Wanchura) Penning in Waterloo, IA. David had a lifetime love for baseball and the Oakland A's. He was passionate about his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved being his own boss while cleaning carpets.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, John Penning.

David is survived by children, Amanda (Scott) Plantz and Sara Penning; fiance, Joanie Madsen; siblings, Jean (Wayne) Johnson, Paul (Bobbie) Penning and Mary (Bob) Campbell; grandchildren, Logan, Star and Jaxzen; a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 14, 2021.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
