Adam A. Driscoll, age 40, passed away August 31, 2020 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 17, 1979 to Joseph and Susan Driscoll. Adam graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1998 and went on to receive an Associates Degree from Iowa Western.
In addition to being a devoted and loving husband, father and son, Adam was always serving his community by coaching various local high school sports, volunteering at Broadway United Methodist Church, and he was always the first to volunteer to coach his kids' sports teams. He was a passionate sports fan, especially for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Royals and Blue Devils. From his time working behind the bar, to extended family gatherings, to the Lynx sidelines, everyone Adam met felt valued; Adam never knew a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dana Driscoll; children, Kinnick, Penelope, and Addison Driscoll; father and mother-in-law, Ed and Sandy Williams; brother, Dylan (Hannah) Driscoll; sister, Faith Driscoll; siblings-in-law, Beth Williams, Brian Williams (Tricia); grandmother-in-law, Frances Williams; grandfather-in-law, Chuck DeWitt; niece, Emilia Driscoll; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation is Friday, September 4, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. The family has requested that guests wear their favorite team jersey as a tribute to Adam.
Private Graveside Service Saturday, September 5, 2020 with a celebration of life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorials. The family requests masks be worn during the visitation please.
