Alan Mark Hollenbeck

Alan M. Hollenbeck, age 64, passed away at CHI Mercy Hospital on August 19, 2020.

He was born on December 29, 1955 to the late Cecil and Gladys (Pelkey) Hollenbeck in Omaha, Nebraska. Alan served his county to maintain his freedom from 1972 – 1974 in the United States Army. He loved his wife and family. Alan was a kind, loving man of God. He was a longtime member of Highpoint Open Bible Church.

In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and David. He is survived by his wife, Julie Hollenbeck; sons, Alan Jr. and Zach Hollenbeck; stepchildren, Keith Norton and wife, Liz, Travis Norton and wife, April, Justin Norton and wife, Rebecca and Terra Norton; 6 grandchildren, Austin, Tanner, Skylar, Blake, Olivia and Micah Norton; sister, Joyce Mitchel and husband, Jon; brothers, Dana Hollenbeck and wife, Joy, Robert Hollenbeck and wife, Julie; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Service is 1:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Highpoint Open Bible Church in Council Bluffs with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to the family.
