Alberta Dorothy Phippen

Alberta Dorothy Phippen, age 83, passed away November 30, 2015 at the home of her son near Treynor, Iowa. She was born March 1, 1932 in Onawa, Iowa to the late Bert and Flora (Swesey) Johnson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Phippen; and son, Marc Phippen. Alberta is survived by her son, Matthew Phippen (Denise); daughter-in-law, Lurene Phippen; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation is Sunday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
