Allen Kent Golden

Allen Kent Golden passed away October 6, 2017, at Nebraska Medical Center after a 6 day battle. He was 82 years old. For the past two years Allen was a resident at Bethany Lutheran Home.

Allen was born in Arnold Park, Iowa, His parents were Woody and Bernaline Golden. He was the second born of five other siblings. He graduated from Glenwood High School in 1955. Allen married Donna Rae Ward from Shenandoah, Iowa, on February 19, 1955, where they resided most of their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Donna; brother, Kenneth Golden.

He is survived by his children, Steven Golden, Bambi Wilson, and Jordan Golden; four grandchildren, Aubrey Graham, Seth Golden, Tessa McCartney and Olivia Behm; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Gage Graham; brothers, Bob Golden, Gary Golden; sisters, Norma Golden and Linda Barris.

Allen knew no strangers, was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. A memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Lighthouse, 1700 Ave E, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51501 at 6 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2017. Cards and condolences will be directed by family.
