Ann L. Gardner

Ann L. Gardner, age 86, of Council Bluffs passed away December 29, 2015 at CHI Mercy Hospital. She was born in Crescent, Iowa on September 26, 1929 to the late Ross and Lorene (Trede) Hough. Ann graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1946. She was longtime member of the Eastern Star. Ann and her late husband, Stanley had farmed in Harrison County for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Gardner; sister, Betsy Seaton. Ann is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Gardner; daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Randal Shipley; grandchildren, Jeremy Wenninghoff, Ross Gardner (Charity), Jill Stover (Larry), Leanne Putnam (Christopher), Alex Shipley; 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment is in the Grange Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
