Ann McClelland

Ann M. McClelland, age 73, passed away at Nebraska Medicine July 5, 2024.

She was born July 17, 1950, to the late Bill and Esther (Koch) Trede in Council Bluffs, IA. Ann graduated from Treynor High School with the class of 1968. She and her late husband, Paul had owned the Shortline Cafe in Treynor. Ann also worked for 1st National Bank in Council Bluffs, as a loan officer; as the elementary secretary at Treynor Schools, and as the Clerk of Court in Pottawattamie County. After her retirement, she worked as a Para-educator at Kreft Elementary. Besides the cafe, she and Paul, worked the school concession stands and the Westfair Concession stand for over fifteen years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McClelland.

Ann is survived by her children, Kate McClelland (Joe) and Andrew McClelland; granddaughter, Drew Kathleen McClelland; siblings, Ted Trede (Barb), Mary Lane, and Tom Trede (Sue); nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 09, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Interment will be in Zion Congregational Church Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
