Anna Meador

Anna Marie Meador, age 59, passed away March 9, 2025 in Council Bluffs. She was born at the Airforce Base in Johnson County, Missouri on November 21, 1965 to Meredith Howard Meador, Jr., and Barbara Marie (Swanson) Colton.

Anna primarily worked in the healthcare industry, but held several jobs to provide for her special needs daughter, Misty, the biggest joy in her life.

Anna loved having a good time, loved hanging with her friends, dancing to music, and loved watching the Chiefs play.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Meredith Meador and Barbara Colton; and her significant other, Todd Carson.

Anna will be deeply missed by her daughter, Misty Anderson of Council Bluffs, IA; siblings, Martin (Lori) Meador of Indianola, IA, Amanda Allsup (Dennis John) of New Virginia, IA, Mark (Amber) Meador of Winterset, IA, Lisa (Brian) Nelson of Louisville, KY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Private Family burial will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Ridgewood Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00PM at the Railway Inn on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
