Barbara Ann Springer

Barbara Ann Springer, age 88, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was promoted to be with Jesus on December 22, 2022.

She loved her family and serving her church, Valley View Baptist, for more than 50 years. She was a Sunday School teacher for 2 and 3 year olds for many of those years. At her death she was a member of Southview Bible Church. She worked for many years at Dairy Queen and mentored many young ladies at her job. She loved to be involved with the activities of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. Her parents were the late Wilfred and Delores Richardson.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Norman Springer, Sr. and children, Deb Anderson (Larry) and Norm Springer, Jr. (Joyce). She is also survived by two sisters, Beula Young and Sandy Taylor, and two brothers, Dick Richardson and Joe Richardson, as well as 7 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, December 30, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Southview Bible Church on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorial gifts are suggested to Southview Bible Church or Gideon's International.
