Barbara J. Oamek

Barbara J. Oamek, 86 years, of Crescent, Iowa died Sunday, July 22, 2018. She was born October 22, 1931 in Ft. Laramie, Wyoming to Glenn and Maude (Sutherland) Brown. She worked many years in the X-Ray Department at the Cogley Clinic, retiring in 1980. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy “Cork” Oamek as well as an infant son, LeRoy Oamek; a son in law, Jon Pakenham and her sister, Dorothy Brown.

She is survived by her daughters, Christie Johnsen (James) and Kathie Davis (Raymond); her son, George Oamek (Sharon); five grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and one sister, Judith Barrow.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday 5 to 7PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday 11AM also at the funeral home. Interment will be later in the Crescent Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
