Barbara Kallesen

Barbara J. Kallesen, age 87, passed away at Risen Son Christian Village October 28, 2024.

She was born October 5, 1937, to the late Virgil and Selma (Kienast) Elsberry in Audubon County, Iowa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Kallesen; brother, Wayne Elsberry; brother-in-law, Junior Kallesen; sisters-in-law, Maggie Elsberry and Carol Kallesen; nephew, Mike Elsberry.

Barbara is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Curt Chambers; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Carla Kallesen; siblings, Marlene (Larry) Schwab, Merle (Leah Peters) Elsberry, Mary (Bud) Korver; sister-in-law, Eleanor Elsberry; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, November 02, 2024. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Memorials are suggested to Saint Paul Lutheran Early Childhood Center.
