Beatrice Buffington

Beatrice Buffington was born at home on her family?s farm on February 23, 1921 in Keg Creek Township. Her parents were Bert W. and Eveline (Reekie) Springer. She was a lifetime resident of the area, moving to Risen Son in 2008. With her daughters by her side, she passed away peacefully on June 29, 2012. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Buffington; sisters, Dora Atz, Ruth Taylor, June Simmonds and Janie Gilson; brothers, Milton Springer, George Springer and Harry Springer. Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Beverley Zuch and her husband, Chuck and Diane Buffington; twin sister, Berniece Copeland; grandchildren, Brent Zuch (Alison), Michelle Benes (Bob), Tab Zuch (Cynthia), Gretchen Taylor; 9 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Monday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service is Tuesday 10AM at the Silver City United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Silver City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Church or the Silver City Cemetery.
