Bernard C. Andrews

Bernard C. Andrews, age 89, of Council Bluffs passed away September 1, 2017.

He was born in Moorhead, Iowa on July 8, 1928 to the late Richard and Mildred (Melby) Andrews. After high school, Bernard proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Vickers.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Andrews and brothers, Howard and Glen Andrews.

Bernard is survived by his children, Charles “Chip” Andrews (Jeanne), Bonnie Moore (Larry), Beckie Rosenthal, Janet Herber (Jeff); siblings, Dorothy Babe, Janice Massie, Darrell Andrews (Bev), Carol Michael, Bob Andrews; sisters-in-law, Emogene Andrews, Sharon D'Ercole, Linda (Doug) Hines; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment with Military Honors is in the Ridgewood Mausoleum. Family will direct memorials.
