Bernice Ann Webber, age 86, passed away December 23, 2015 at the Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa. She was born in Ainsworth, Nebraska on February 28, 1929 to the late Charles and Margaret (Wollesen) Thompson. Bernice lived most of her life in the Missouri Valley and California Junction area. She retired from Control Data in Omaha. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Evans and Morris Webber both of whom were World War II Veterans; brothers, Dean and Bernard Thompson; step-daughter, Linda Webber and brother-in-law, Allen Berens. Bernice is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Nancy Evans, Terry and Audrey Evans, Gary and Patricia Evans; step-daughter, Lana Reichenberg (Rick); siblings, Gene Thompson (Pricilla), Bruce Thompson (Carolyn), Fern Beasley (Bill), Marilyn Berens, Mae Woodard, Carol Frantz; sisters-in-law, Eva Thompson and Virginia Thompson; grandchildren, Jason Evans, Joshua Evans, Cal Evans (Meaghan), Anna Evans, Samantha Hobart (Erik), Tara Roseberry (Steve); step-grandchildren, Keith Smithson (Barbara), Kyle Smithson (Kellie), Jade Harrington (Chad), Shilo Anderson (Nichole), Shay Anderson; great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the service in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Interment is in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Missouri Valley, Iowa. The family will direct memorials.
