Bert L. Knapp

Bert L. Knapp, age 79 of Council Bluffs passed away March 14, 2013 at his home. He was born in Crescent, Iowa on October 22, 1933 to the late Bert & Nora (Wright) Knapp. He retired from the Union Pacific Rail Road in 1994. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Morrison. Bert is survived by his wife, Jeanie Knapp; children, Kimberly Knapp, Kevin Knapp, Rodney Knapp (Kristie), Robin Knapp; Tracy Seery (Bryan), Morgan Baumgartner (Ailsa), Shannon Juarez (Joe), Leslie Nelson (Eric), Danni Kingsbury (Bryce) and Jessi Mendenhall (Adam); sisters, Grace McCoy and Norma Morrison (Ed); 19 grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Memorial service is Monday 2PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service.
