Betty Dolores Olsen

Betty Dolores Olsen, age 93, passed away March 11, 2023.

She was born October 5, 1929, to the late George and Opal (Brown) Tietsort in Flint, Michigan. Betty and Eugene were married on July 30, 1950 in Woodbine, Iowa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Olsen; daughter, Carolyn Henry; brother, George Tietsort; and sister, Verna Kephart.

Betty is survived by her son, Duane (Kim) Olsen; 2 granddaughters, Ashley (Timothy) Baruth and Rebecca (Timothy) Insko; great-grandchildren, Samuel, Olivia and Madelyn Insko, Sophie and Bradley Baruth; and sister, Sandy (Keith) Allmon.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM. 

Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Inurnment is in Grange Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Timothy Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs.
