Betty Jean Lawless

Betty Jean Lawless, age 89, passed away February 18, 2019.

She was born in Missouri Valley, Iowa on June 9, 1929 to the late Alma and Maudie (McNeal) Thallas.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lawless; brother, Herman Thallas and sister, Patsy Covey.

Betty is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jack Lawless (Sharon), Terry Lawless (Mindy) and Jim Lawless (Kim); brother-in-law, Dal Covey; sister-in-law, Cush Thallas; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment is in Ridgewood Cemetery.
