Betty L Schnackenberg

Betty L. Schnackenberg, age 68, of Council Bluffs passed away February 15, 2016 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. She was born in Council Bluffs on October 10, 1947 to the late Herman and Verna (Rhoads) Schnackenberg. Betty worked for a number of years at the Hard Luck Saloon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Schnackenberg and sister, Edith Haugsted. Betty is survived by her son, John Schnackenberg; brother, Don Schnackenberg (Jan); sister, Carol Gildaron; granddaughter, Jaimie Tiesort (Tyler); great grandson, Liam; a host of other family and friends. Celebration of her life will begin at 5:00p.m. on Saturday at the Hard Luck Saloon in Council Bluffs. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
