Betty M. Bahr

Betty M. Bahr, age 74 of Council Bluffs passed away November 6, 2011. She was born October 18, 1937 in Red Oak, Iowa to the late William P. & Irene Swanson) Jones. Betty was a senior administrative assistant at Creighton University in the Math Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Richard Bahr and Michael Bahr and her sister, Mary Spracklin. Betty is survived by her husband, Don Bahr to whom she married September 13, 1958; sons Roger Bahr and his wife, Michelle, Curtis D. Bahr, Gregory Bahr and his wife, Anne; daughter, Suzanne Poore and her husband, Chris; brother and sister-in-law, Donald & Jeannine Jones; 16 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Service will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment is in the Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a reception in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. The family will direct memorials.
