Beverly A. Sage

Beverly A. Sage, age 78, of Council Bluffs passed away February 18, 2015 at CHI Mercy Hospital. She was born in Sheldon, Iowa on November 21, 1936 to the late LeRoy and Annie (Wesselink) Croghan. She retired from Cornhusker Casualty and was a member of Lighthouse Temple Church. You always knew where you stood with Bev. Her words were always from her heart and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Warren and Dennis Croghan; sisters, Virginia Boekhoff, Betty Watts and Laura Pedersen. Beverly is survived by her husband of 60 years by whom she was affectionately called Mama Bear, Ross Sage; daughters and sons-in-law, Teri & Harvey Kunik, Julie & Alan Hollenbeck, Amy & Jim Shaw; sisters, Mary Croghan and Colleen Croghan; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny & Sue Croghan; 24 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation will begin at 4PM with a funeral service starting at 5PM on Sunday February 22, 2015. A reception will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski
