Beverly Ann Agee, age 89, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family on November 4, 2024.
She was born in La Plata, Missouri on December 1, 1934 to the late George and Alice BeGole. Beverly married James "Richard" Agee on November 6, 1953 and they were blessed with two children, Mark and Michele.
Beverly was a devoted Air Force wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She and Richard lived in four countries and many US States while he was enlisted in the Air Force before they settled in Council Bluffs.
After her daughter died, she did a magnificent job raising her granddaughter. Caitlin and her family were the light of her life.
Beverly was a member of First Christian Church in Council Bluffs. She loved the Lord, and her faith guided her through much loss and many challenges in her life. Beverly dedicated much of her time to taking care of others in any way she could.
Beverly was an excellent cook and made sure the young ladies in her life knew a thing or two in the kitchen. She was well known for "Nana's brownies". Growing vegetables and canning was a favorite hobby, that she passed onto Caitlin as well.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Agee; children, Mark Agee and Michele Agee; brother-in-law, Paul Zopfi; niece, Bobbi Davis; and many beloved pets.
She is survived by her sister, Donna Zopfi; granddaughter, Caitlin Ann Schanuth and her husband, Jeff Schanuth; great-granddaughters, Isabella Ann Schanuth and Abigail Lou Schanuth; nieces, Brenda Holland (Tim) and Bonnie Titgemeyer (John); her beloved fur babies, and many friends.
It was Beverly's wish to be cremated and no services be held. She will be buried with her family in La Plata, Missouri. Memorials will be directed by the family.
