Beverly Whiteaker

Beverly Jean Whiteaker, age 92, passed away peacefully at Bethany Lutheran Home December 14, 2024.

She was born January 16, 1932, to the late Thomas and Cleo Belle (Stocksleger) Galloway in Sterling, IL. Beverly retired from Boy's Town National Research Hospital. She was a volunteer for Iowa Legal Aid for 18 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. "Bud" Whiteaker; son, Thomas "Tommy" Moore; son-in-law, Averial "Jim" Pratt; grandson, Billy Joe Pratt.

Beverly is survived by her children, Larry (Bonnie) Moore, Julie Pratt, Richard (Kimberly) Whiteaker, and Phillip (Pat) Whiteaker; grandchildren: Holly (Heath) Vinton, David (Jaclyn) Pratt, Richie Moore, Maddie (Brody) Tubaugh, Payton Whiteaker, and Paxton (Delaney) Whiteaker; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. The family will direct memorials in Beverly's honor.
