Bonnie Mae Green

Bonnie M. Green, age 87, passed away at her home on March 4, 2019.

She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on June 13, 1931 to the late Alfred and Esther (Rogers) Jacobsen. Bonnie retired from Jennie Edmundson Hospital after 42 years of service. She was active in the nurse’s alumni, the American Legion Auxiliary, Daughters of the Nile and Cookie Crumbs.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert “Bob” Green; children, Susan Green, Sandra Burmeister (Doug), Keith Green (Lisa); brother, Dennis Jacobsen (Lois); 6 grandchildren, Dustin Harris (Mary), Matthew Burmeister (Shauna), Christopher Green, Andrew Burmeister, Scott Green and Hannah Green; 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. The family will direct memorials.
