Brenda Dargin

January 12, 1962 — January 21, 2024

Brenda Lynne Dargin was born January 12, 1962 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Fredrick Houston and Lois Mae (Thompson) Wilmon. The family lived in CA, CO and finally Tahlequah, Oklahoma area. She was raised with her two brothers, Mike and James and her two sisters, Shelly and Darla. Brenda loved her family, and her grandchildren could do no wrong in her eyes. She enjoyed spending time with them at the farm, either feeding the cows or watching them fish. Brenda moved to Iowa with her two sons, Heath and Nick, in the early 90's and would marry the love of her life Jerry on January 27, 1996. Brenda and Jerry resided in Minden, Iowa and were happily married for 28 years. Brenda worked in transportation for over 30 years before staying home to take care of her health. She was always willing to lend a hand and made sure people didn't go without. Although she enjoyed talking to everyone, she came across there was time she just wanted to sit in silence and enjoy her western movies and Oklahoma football. Brenda went peacefully with the lord January 21, 2024, in Council Bluffs, IA. She was 62 years old.

She leaves behind her sister, Darla (Todd) Nolen of Dimmitt, TX; her brothers, Mike Wilmon and wife Phyllis of Tahlequah, OK, James Wilmon and wife Sharon of Park Hill; and her mother, Lois Wilmon of Tahlequah OK. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of great friends, too many to mention.
