Bruce David Hardiman

Bruce David Hardiman, age 65, of Council Bluffs passed away December 25, 2013. He was born in Council Bluffs on October 27, 1948 to Bruce & Donna (Jones) Hardiman. He was a member of the Teamsters and drove bus for 28 years for the Metropolitan Area Transit. Bruce was an avid fisherman and loved to teach others how to fish. He was also an ordained minister and taught Sunday school for many years. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Hardiman; father, Bruce C. Hardiman; sister, Kathryn Kate Hardiman. Bruce is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Tonie Hardiman; daughter, Melissa Hardiman; mother, Donna Hardiman; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Randie Hardiman, Phil and Suzanne Hardiman, Dr. Stephen and Rhonda Hardiman; sister, Teresa Kerkman; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation is Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Crescent Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army - Council Bluffs Office.
