Bruce T. Jensen

Bruce T. Jensen, age 78 of Treynor, Iowa passed away July 31, 2012. He was born August 6, 1933 in Harlan, Iowa to the late Jens & Helen (Christensen) Jensen. Bruce had worked for the Postal Service for many years retiring in 1995. He then worked the last 11 years at Manawa State Park. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan; granddaughter, Jennifer; siblings, Mildred, Wayne, June and Richard. Bruce is survived by his wife, Ruth (Hollinger) Jensen to whom he married January 18, 1952; daughter, Criss Jensen and longtime friend, Peggy Fields; sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Sharon Jensen, Randy and Sandra Jensen, Roger and Jeri Jensen; sister, Grace McNabb; brothers, Earl Jensen and Norman Jensen (MaryJo); 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will be directing memorials to specific ministries at Crossroads Baptist Church of Apache Junction, Arizona.
