Byron Roenfeld

Byron Roenfeld, age 67, passed away August 27, 2024. He was born May 21, 1957 to the late Myron "Mike" and Carolyn (Core) Roenfeld in Council Bluffs, Iowa. A passionate gardener, Byron enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with those around him. His culinary talents were a delight to all who had the pleasure of partaking in his dishes, always prepared with love and care, even if he could not enjoy them himself.

Throughout his life, Byron worked as an electrician, showcasing his dedication and skill in his craft. A proud supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs football team and an ardent fan of Iowa State, Byron's enthusiasm for sports knew no bounds.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Kathy Roenfeld.

Byron is survived by his wife, Jenny; children, Jeremiah "JR" Roenfeld, Alexandra (Ryan) Wright, Nicholas Roenfeld, Gabriella (Cody Scofield) Roenfeld, Kristen Cresie, Craig (Mehgan) Carlsen, Kendall Carlsen, RJ (Cera) Mitchell, Kelton Mitchell; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Richard Roenfeld, David (Liz Hatfield) Roenfeld, Michael (Sue Ann) Roenfeld; sister, Sheri (Dennis) Wallace; and a host of other family and friends.
