Carol S. Rhoten

Carol S. Rhoten, age 82, of Council Bluffs passed away July 10, 2016. She was born in Council Bluffs on December 25, 1933 to the late Thomas and Ada (Wyma) Roper. Carol graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She was a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church. Carol is survived by her brother, Thomas Roper; children, Kenneth Sayles and his wife Elba, Thomas Sayles, Cathy Hill and her husband Jim, Brian Rhoten and his wife Lyn, Freddi Walls and her husband Dennis; 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Thursday at St. Pauls Episcopal Church 22 Dillman Drive in Council Bluffs. Interment is in the Ridgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Pauls Episcopal Church.
