Cecelia F. Brickey

Cecelia F. Brickey, age 72, of Council Bluffs passed away June 24, 2015 at Hospice With Heart Hospice House in Glenwood, Iowa. She was born on January 11, 1943 in Council Bluffs to Thomas and Freda (Whear) Swingwood. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Franklin A. Brickey; daughters, Karen Konopik-Bishop (Joe Bishop), Penny Core (J.R. Fichter), and Candy (Jay) Wilson; sons, Frank Brickey Jr. and Steve (Cindy) Brickey; 9 grandchildren: Katrina Konopik, Cara Bell, Madelynn Brickey, Matthew Brickey, Jacob Ott, Cheyenne Core, Jessica Brickey, Steven Brickey, and Ella Wilson; 2 great grandchildren, James and Kamille; nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. Tuesday visitation will be 6-8PM at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Wednesday visitation will be at 10:30AM at First Church of the Nazarene, 2600 Avenue A, with the Memorial Service to begin at 11AM. A luncheon will follow at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
