Chad Coleman Abel

Chad Coleman Abel, age 51, passed away at his home on August 9, 2020.

He was born on September 16, 1968 to Cloyce and Carol (Runner) Abel in Osceola, Iowa.

Sgt. Abel served in the US Army until 1998 when he was discharged with honors. He was then blessed with his son, Alex and soon after with his beloved wife Julie. Chad then started his career as an electrician with IBEW Local #22.

Chad is survived by his wife, Julie Dake Abel, son, Alex Abel; parents, Cloyce and Carol Abel; brother, Cody Abel (Tammy); father-in-law, Joe Dake; nephew, Angelo Masiello (Mary); niece, Emily Kurcowski (Paul); sister-in-law Joann (Dake) Moore; his beloved dog, Wego; a host of other relatives and friends, as well as his Union brothers.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place at 10:00 AM at Saint Bridget’s Cemetery in Honey Creek on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Memorials may be directed to the family and will be used for helping veterans in need.
