Charles A. Walker

Charles A. Walker, age 87, of Ida Grove passed away January 18, 2014 at the home of his son, David in Council Bluffs. He was born in Vallejo, California on December 16, 1926 to the late George and Anna (Mann) Walker. After graduation he proudly served his country during World War II. He retired a Mechanic from Holmes Motors in Ida Grove. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughters, Karen and Joyce; sisters, Alice and Lillian. Charles is survived by his wife, Margaret Walker; children, Carol Behrmann, David & Jeri Walker, James Walker, Dale Walker, Brian Walker, Della & Jeff Holmes; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. on Friday January 24, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ida Grove. The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church or donors choice.
