Charles D. Blue

Charles D. Blue, age 65, passed away peacefully at Jennie Edmundson Hospital August 4, 2021. He was born August 28, 1955 to Charles and Doris (Kesterson) Blue in Council Bluffs, IA. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, training dogs, NASCAR and gardening.


Charles is survived by wife, Gayle Blue; children, April (Aaron) Renneke, Christopher Barnes, Matthew (Sarita) Blue, Jonathan Barnes, Charles Nicholas Blue and Andrew Blue; siblings, Orville (Patricia) Blue, Margaret Aleksiak and Ruth Blue; grandchildren, Jonah, Aaron, Isaac, Caleb, Elias, Simon, Emmet, Kz, Ashley, Reassa, Athena, Tabitha, Abigail, Joseph and Chevy; great grandchildren, Ethan, Eli and Zeus; many family and friends.


Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on August, 11, 2021.

The family will direct memorials.
