Charlotte E. Palen

Charlotte E. Palen, age 69, passed away May 22, 2015 at her residence. She was born on May 26, 1945 to Clarence and Faye Jean (McIntosh) Rundberg in Des Moines, Iowa. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Rosemary Rundberg; step-sister, Edna Rundberg and step-son, Paul Petermann. She is survived by son, Jackie Palen (Michelle); daughters, Kathleen Palen (Bob) and Jeannie Arthur; stepdaughters, Diane Keehn (Brad), Vicky Christensen, Jackie Korth (Sam), and Sheryl Palen; step-son, John Palen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Bud Rundberg (Carol), Raymond Rundberg (Jack); stepsisters, Mary Hunter, Nellie Utterback, and Alvie Reed; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery with a luncheon to follow in the Hoy Community Room. Memorials may be directed to the family.
