Charmaine Turner

Charmaine Turner, age 88, passed away on December 14th, 2024. She was born on March 5th, 1936, to Joseph and Evelyn(Skahan) Irvin in Austin, MN. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Bruce Turner, son-in-law Bob Hassler, twin Sister Charlotte Horstmann and her husband Jack Horstmann and brother Gene Irvin. 

Charmaine is survived by her sister Peggy Askerud, children Luana(Doug) Schoening, Mike(Natalie) Murphy, Kelly(Bob) Hassler, Judy Warth, Michelle Ciesluk, and Frank Warth; as well as 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She loved living on the lake and taking scenic drives. On game days, she proudly wore her Nebraska Cornhuskers attire, cheering on her favorite team. Charmaine also cherished the friendships she built with her colleagues at the school where she worked and found great joy and support in her AA family.

A Celebration of Her Life will be from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at the Warehouse Event Venue 1414 W. Broadway.
