Chester "Marcus" Petty

Chester "Marcus" Petty, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024. He was born December 11, 1938, to the late Earnest and Izola (Lane) Petty in Decatur County, IA.

Marcus was an upholsterer at Rosen Novak Cadillac for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, E. Edward "Ed" Petty.

Chester is survived by his children, Barbara (Larry) Rasmusen, Sandra (Jeff) Behrendsen, Tracy (Jeff) McKinney, and Emily Petty; brothers, Nelson "Clem" (Delores) Petty and Robert "David" Petty; sister-in-law, Karen Petty; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, February 12, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
