Clara M. Ochampaugh

Clara M. Ochampaugh, 92 years, of Honey Creek, passed away May 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 26, 1925 in rural Harrison County, Iowa to the late Clarence and Louisa (Chamberlain) Hunt. She married Floyd Ochampaugh and she moved into their home as a young bride where she continued to live her entire life until passing away there in the same house.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd; a sister, Louise Thomas and a granddaughter, Cindy Ochampaugh.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Cohen and Sharon McDaniel (James); a brother, Clarence Hunt; grandsons, Brian Cook (Melissa) and Levi McDaniel; great granddaughters, Alissa and Alaina Pruitt.

A memorial service will be at the St. John Lutheran Church in Honey Creek at 10:30 Saturday morning.
