Clyde M. Peck

Clyde M. Peck, age 91, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on August 3, 2014. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on January 9, 1923 to the late William & Edith (Jackson ) Peck. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II and in fact he was on the ground at Pearl Harbor when the bombing began. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Peck; son, Tommy Peck; 3 sisters and 7 brothers. Clyde is survived by his wife of 14 years, Carolyn Peck; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen & John Ranney and Lorna & Dennis Hiatt; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory & Mary Anne Peck; stepsons, Tim Wilhite (Roxanne) and Jeffrey Wilhite (Lauri); grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to the Open Door Mission or AseraCare Hospice.
