Danny Harry Poulos

Danny Harry Poulos, Jr. age, 42 of Council Bluffs passed away October 4, 2013 at Alegent Health Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. He was born in Council Bluffs on December 30, 1970 to Dan & Kathy Poulos. Danny was a devoted husband, father, son and brother and was always dedicated to family first. He had a welcoming smile and made everyone he encountered feel important. He touched so many lives both personally and professionally in his short journey through life and although short, it was memorable. Danny is survived by his wife, Julie Poulos; children, Danny Poulos III, Sylvia Poulos and Bobby Poulos; parents, Dan & Kathy Poulos; sister and brother-in-law, Helen & Ehren Schweer; brother and sister-in-law, George and Marti Poulos; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Elaine Schall; sister-in-law, Stephanie Patsalis, brother-in-law, Michael Schall; brother-in-law, Paul Patsalis; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Sunday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral home with a Trisagion (prayer) service to begin at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service is Monday 10:30 a.m. at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to his children for their education.
