Darcy Featherstone

Darcy Joan Featherstone (Kritenbrink), age 63, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away October 6, 2023.

She was born June 20, 1960 to Arthur and Evelyn (Miller) Kritenbrink. Throughout her life Darcy was an artist, teacher, graphic, and stay at home mother. She was an avid painter of watercolor paints and pencils. During the years she taught some of her students and have made sculptures and murals that stand in Bayliss and other places around the metro area. Darcy would take the time to listen to any family, friends and neighbors who came to her and her own family was one of her biggest sources of pride.

In addition to her parents, Darcy was preceded in death by sister Rita Zych (Kritenbrink); and brothers Micheal, Arthur, Thomas, Mark, and James.

Darcy is survived by her husband Charles Featherstone; her sons Nathan and Christopher; and daughter Sarah; her sister Evelyn Kritenbrink; siblings-in-law; Larry Zych, Jean Kritenbrink, Denise Kritenbrink, Gwendolyn Kritenbrink, Linda (Carlson) Dunn and Frank, Deana (Ziegler) Olson and Wayne, Scott Ziegler and Somsri, and Darryl Ziegler and Shawna; as well as a long and loving list of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held in Council Bluffs, IA at Corpus Christi - Holy Family Church 2217 Avenue B on October 16th, 2023 at 10:00am.
