David C. Johannes

David C. Johannes, age 67 of Crescent, Iowa passed away November 21, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. He was born August 24, 1946 in Dyersville, Iowa to the late Clarence & Dorothy (Grush) Johannes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Hughes; sisters, Bonnie Dede Marchese and Dorothy Dot Sundell; nephew, Alan Johannes. David is survived by his wife, Sheri Johannes; sons, Adam Johannes and Justin Winchell; daughters, Karen Johannes and Gina Johannes (Brandon Turner); brothers, Bob Hughes (JoAnn) and Daniel Johannes (Debbie); sisters, Esther Stapleton (Michael) and Linda Richardson (Dale); 3 grandchildren, Chrystina, James and Evalyn; ex-wife, Donna Johannes; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in a local cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
