Dean Rasmussen

Dean Rasmussen, age 92, of Randolph, Iowa, formerly of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away September 29, 2018.

He was born in Griswold, Iowa on December 9, 1925 to the late John and Irene (Petty) Rasmussen. Dean retired in 1984. He’d worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, Omaha Stockyards and was a farmer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Dean is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty Rasmussen; children, Richard and Marcia, James and Sandy, Jeff and Cindy, Jayanne and Mike, Janet and Robert, Joan; 17 grandchildren, 15 ½ great grandchildren; sister, Helen Sell; brother, Charles and Evelyn Rasmussen.

Celebration of his life is 1:00p.m. on Monday October 1, 2018 at the Nazarene Church in Tabor, Iowa.
