Deanna F. Miller

DeAnna F. Miller, age 72, of Council Bluffs passed away April 3, 2016 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. She was born in Allen, Nebraska on April 10, 1943 to the late Sydney and Clara (Halverson) Rasmussen. DeAnna graduated from the Allen Nebraska High School. She married Richard Dick Miller on May 23, 1963 and together they owned and operated Union Pharmacy. In addition to her parents she was preceded by brothers, Albert, Tom, Bob, Russell, William and James; sisters, Mary and Elaine. DeAnna is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dick Miller; children, Mark Miller and his wife Cindy, Melanie Shipley and her husband Bill, John Miller, Carrie Schmitz and her husband Jerry; siblings, Glynn Rasmussen, Delores Johnson and her husband William, Dennis Rasmussen and his wife Jackie; grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, Francesca, Madison, Sidney, Mia Faye, Sadie and Guy; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A Celebration of her Life is 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the donors choice in DeAnnas honor.
