Deanna Jo Adams

Deanna Jo Adams, age 68, passed away on October 3, 2020, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Deanna was born to the late Maxwell and Margie (Kelsey) Streeter on August 19, 1952, in Colby, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Mark Adams; daughter Kristin (Todd) Lewis; granddaughter Aurora; siblings Mike (Vickie) Streeter, Marcia (Mike) Galloway, and David (Celeste) Streeter; many nieces and nephews; and numerous beloved friends.

Deanna spent her life educating elementary aged students in the Omaha community for over 30 years. She had amazing passion for empowering and educating young people. She loved to sing, especially in her church and gospel music. She loved being a mother and spending time with her granddaughter.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 9, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.
