Denise A. Wellensiek

Denise A. Wellensiek, age 64, of Syracuse, Nebraska passed away October 11, 2017. She was born on December 30, 1952 in Harlan, Iowa to Darwin and Arlene (Andersen) Warner.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, Darwin Warner.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Karl Wellensiek; son, Eric Wellensiek; her mother, Arlene Warner; sister, Beverly Courtney, and her husband Ray; brothers, Dennis Warner, and his wife Linda, and Allan Warner, and his wife Linda.

Memorial service, Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 11:30 a.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory in Council Bluffs, Iowa. A private burial will take place in the Harlan Cemetery in Harlan, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the Nebraska Children’s Home in Denise’s honor.
