Dennis Teymer

Dennis Teymer, age 78, passed away June 26, 2022.

He was born May 18, 1944, to the late Joseph and Pauline (Coppess) Teymer in Anamosa, IA. Denny proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Naval Reserves. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Council Bluffs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Teymer and Louis Teymer.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Barbara Teymer; children, Sarah (Jaime) Juarez, Nathan (Phylicia) Teymer, and Damian (Jennifer) Teymer; siblings, Gary (Phyllis) Teymer, Mary Jo (Dale) Noyes, and Randy (Pam) Teymer; grandchildren, Josephine Teymer, Jeanie Teymer, Ismael Juarez, and Ethan Teymer; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM at St Peter's Catholic Church - 1 Bluff Street in Council Bluffs on Friday, July 1, 2022. Visitation will be at the church during the hour prior to the service. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery in Anamosa, Iowa, on Saturday July 2, 2022. The family will direct memorials.
