Donald Chapman

Donald Ralph Chapman Age 72 of Council Bluffs, IA passed away February 23, 2024. He was born on January 16, 1952 in Council Bluffs, IA to Billy and Betty (Mitchell) Chapman.

Don graduated from Lewis Central High School and later became a licensed Third Grade Engineer working several years at IWCC and Jennie Edmundson Hospital. He enjoyed being creative and liked working with his hands. He was always able to make something usable out of nothing. Don was smart, kindhearted and if you needed something fixed, he would always offer his expertise to fix it without any hesitation. You might say he was a Jack of All Trades. We will surely miss his presence in our lives.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Billy and sister, Dorothy.

Donald is survived by his mother, Betty; sisters, Deb Chapman and Raejean Clifton (Ron); daughter, Annie Chapman; sons, Billy Chapman and Jesse Benson; 4-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; family and friends.
