Donald D. Martin

Donald D. Martin, age 76, of Council Bluffs passed away April 1, 2017.

He was born in Council Bluffs on January 2, 1941 to the late Donald and Loretta (Rollins) Martin. Donald graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked at Zimmer Oil for many years and most recently at Auto Zone.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert “Bud” and James “Jimmy”; sisters, Norma Jean Martin and Donita Harrod.

Donald is survived by his wife, Peggy Martin; children, Michael Martin, Patrick Martin, Scott Lockard (Dawn), Bill Lockard (Angie), Shelly Roberts (Chris), Marjorie Myers; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 1:00p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
