Donald E. Conner

Donald E. Conner, 82 years died April 22, 2017 at his residence in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was born June 6, 1934 in Council Bluffs and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1952. He served his country in the United States Navy and worked as a boiler maker for the Local 83.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald M. “Bud” and LaVonne (Johnson) Conner and a brother Jerry Conner.

He is survived by his wife, Myrna Darlene “Dar” (Hogue) Conner; his children, Michael (Dawn) Conner, Debbie (Gary) Tague, Ella “Snooks” Porter, Cathy McQuillan and Donnie Stallings; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Simons.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening between the hours of 6 and 8PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be given by the American Legion Rainbow Post #2. Family will direct the memorials.
