Donald E. Wilson

Donald E. Wilson, age 85, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away December 29, 2015 at CHI Immanuel Medical Center. He was born in rural Pottawattamie County on December 6, 1930 to the late Carl and Violet (Aughe) Wilson. Donald graduated from Glenwood High School with the class of 1948. It was in high school that he met his future bride, Dona Edwards. He was co-owner of Dons TBA Services and associated with D.E.W. Manufacturing. Don was a 50 year Mason. He was a member of Benson Baptist Church, Bluffs City #71, the Scottish Rite and was a Shriner. Don is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dona Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Wilson; daughters and sons-in-law, Donelle and Larry Royce, Denise and Tim Wilson, DeAnne and Larry Smith; sisters, Darlene Fernley and Dorothy Fox; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday with a funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow in the community room, at Hoy-Kilnoski. Entombment will follow in the Ridgewood Mausoleum. The family will direct memorials to the Immanuel Community Foundation Resident Assistance Fund.
