Donald Eugene Bahr

Donald Bahr, age 79, passed away December 30, 2016 at his residence in Council Bluffs. He was born in Council Bluffs and graduated from ALHS. He worked as a dispatcher for the UPRR.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Stella Bahr; his wife, Betty; sons, Richard and Michael; sisters, Bonnie, Helen and Cleo and his brother, Bob.

He is survived by his sons, Roger (Michelle), Curtis and Greg Bahr; his daughter, Suzanne (Chris) Poore; brother, Carl (Evelyn) Bahr; sister, Betty Carlson; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday 10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
